Technical Difficulties – and other news

Hello Navigating the Stars community and valued friends!

Today has just been one of those days; nothing has worked out as I planned. Perhaps you are experiencing a similar trend in your day? If you are, know that I share your frustration.

This morning I discovered that somewhere along the way between my Shooting for the Stars event in Nanaimo on Monday, and my ability to actually have time to sit down at the computer today, the power cord for my laptop went missing.

At first, I have to admit, I panicked. I thought perhaps my world might come to a screeching halt, or crumble all together, but I’ve since managed to pull myself up by my boot straps and get my old, and extremely slow, HP laptop up and running.

So, you can expect horoscopes to be posted as soon as possible, but I’m afraid that video of the Shooting for the Stars event will have to be postponed until I’m able to purchase a new cord for my Mac.

In the meantime, I should let you all know that both my Kickstarter campaign and my Shooting for the Stars event were successful in that I was able to get the word out to you, my friends, family and online community. And you sure responded! I feel blessed, humbled, and thankful for all of the donations to my campaign, likes and shares of my posts on Facebook and Twitter, and the private messages and phone calls that many of you made. You have fed me strength. You have helped me believe in myself and my ability to finish the book. And I am forever thankful to all of you.

I didn’t reach my goal of $2,500, so I will not receive any funds from Kickstarter, but I’m not going to let that discourage me. No siree! This novel will get written, come hell or high water. Doing so is a challenge, and it’s one that I’ve waited my entire life to take on. And it is all the more possible because of your love and support.

I will post more about the Shooting for the Stars event in the coming days, for it was a fabulous evening with some really wonderful people who took time out of their lives to listen to an excerpt of my novel, share some food and drinks, and generally have a good time.

Thanks again, people! Horoscopes to be posted soon!

Cheers,

Tamu

Hi Tamu! I hope that you are doing well. I just wanted to let you know how wonderful and on point your horoscopes were and how much I miss reading them. Any plans to continue with this offering? Kirsty

Hi Kirsty! It’s been so long since I’ve been on my site that I didn’t know you had commented here. Thank you so much for the support and encouragement! I’m getting back on track and hope to stay there. Hope you enjoy the first instalment in over a year. lol. Cheers, Tamu.
