Change and re-birth do no have to be painful. In fact they can be magical, transformative and glorious as well. And right now we need to be open to that possibility or we’ll be in for a very bumpy ride.

Relationships and partnerships are being strengthened right now. Old, tired issues that stood in the way of growth, beauty, and joy are being stripped away in favour of new positive and constructive purposes.

With an attitude of wonder and playfulness, we find ourselves reaching to preserve traditional ways of being. Our core values have come into alignment with finding new and innovative ways to preserve family and health and well-being.

Our children come to the forefront of our experience. What they need matters most to us and we are dedicated to setting a good example for them to follow. But we don’t want that example to be laden with burden and seriousness. We also want our children to know that life is full of beauty and wonder. That the essence of life and being alive on this planet right now is to find joy in acts of discovery and learning. Even if you don’t have children, you will be drawn to causes and even policies and programs in you work and social life that help to strengthen and celebrate learning, health and opportunity for our youth.

Do your part to help dissolve, or strip away, alienating and egoistic feelings and motives in your relationships and in the community. Take an active part in finding solutions that benefit the entire group. And if you have children, or work with children, make a concerted effort to listen to their wisdom and encourage their uniqueness as both are vital to this world.

Aries – Mar. 21 to Apr. 19

In order to avoid having your ideas and your will stifled, you are going to have to get back to basics. Strip the issue down, one piece of information at a time. Someone has been lying to you or at least trying to avoid telling you the truth. At a soul essence, this person represents the part of you that feels like it’s juggling fire and ice. This person matters to you, there is deep and long-standing caring between the two of you. So it is very important to get to the heart of the issue and rid yourself and the entire situation of deception. And be aware that you might have pulled the wool over your own eyes because you didn’t want to see what was really going on. By being aware of this, you take responsibility for your own actions and stay centred in the knowledge that the relationship, project or situation is important and vital to your entire picture, dream, or goal.

Taurus – Apr. 20 to May 20

Perhaps you need a little holiday. You need to distract yourself from the overwhelming pressures you feel. There’s just too much going on in your head, too much to be done, and too little time to do it all in. Your life, with all of its projects, relationships, challenges and general activity, is demanding your full attention which makes it difficult to think of taking a break, even for a minute. But doing so is so necessary so that you can refresh and rejuvenate. Just trust me, even if you take two measly days to go walk on a beach somewhere, you’ll come back feeling revitalized and ready to take on anything the world throws your way. You’ll find yourself full of new and wonderful ideas, and you’ll realize that the solutions to all of your problems has been right in front of you all along.

Gemini – May 21 to Jun. 20

Someone you trust is telling you that you are breaking moral codes, you are acting inappropriately and not conforming to the norms of society. Or maybe it’s just the voice in your head. In either case, somehow, you are apparently in the wrong and you don’t like the feeling of familiarity of this whole song and dance. It’s important that you don’t get lost in it, though. Tap into that wise woman that resides within your being. What is her opinion of the situation? She’ll be telling you that what this other person thinks DOES NOT MATTER. You are the weaver of your reality, you are centre spider, and you must weave your life according to your own codes, moral or otherwise. When confronting disapproval for you actions there is no need to be antagonistic or defensive. Work toward solutions, while firmly standing behind what is right for you.

Cancer – Jun. 21 to Jul. 22

In some form or another you have taken a leadership role. People look to you for guidance, they want you to delegate and be in charge of the big picture. This could mean being part of a political campaign, or it could be that you got promoted to a management position in your work place. Use this power wisely. Stay centred and focussed on the good you can do in this role. You have insight that others value, so now is not the time to doubt your abilities. Pay attention to your dreams. They are probably quite vivid right now and very related to your everyday experience. This is your psyche helping you work out problems on the dreamtime. Continue to see the world as your canvas and the focus of your life as the tools to paint it with.

Leo – Jul. 23 to Aug. 22

You’re going on an adventure. You’re not very prepared and your pretty inexperienced, but you are going none-the-less. Don’t worry, this adventure was meant to be and the learning curve that comes along with it won’t be too overwhelming. It will help you see the world through different eyes; to gain perspective and shed your psyche of unnecessary and outdated ideas. This adventure also marks the beginning of something else, something more concrete and long-lasting. Are you building or buying a house? Are you in a new relationship or have you started a new job? Whatever the case may be, you are looking for long-term stability, even though you are only able to focus on the now. Don’t worry, this is how it should be. Magic is coming your way, I promise. Magic here is defined as unexpected solutions to the problems you had no idea how you were going to solve. But first you have a little work to do. Number one: you’ve got to quiet the chaotic and negative voices in your head. You need to find time for stillness and introspection because you won’t accomplish much if you’re feeling like you’re being pulled in a million directions. Number two: stay in your integrity. Walk your talk, follow through, and be honest with yourself as well as friends and family. Your heart is in the right place, so just make sure your actions reflect that purity of intent.

Libra – Sept. 23 to Oct. 22

It’s a good time to begin new and even risky projects. But remember that you’ll have to have stamina and patience. As the saying goes, Rome wasn’t built in a day. Each brick must be carefully scrutinized before being placed. Guard this precious and sacred time. Protect the ideas that are just starting to flourish and the momentum that is just starting to be gained. At the heart of this project, endeavour or relationship is a dream that will, in time, benefit more than just you and the others who are involved. The effects will be far reaching and someday you’ll look back on this time and be proud to know that you contributed. So don’t be afraid to jump, all the chances are worth taking right now.

Scorpio – Oct. 23 to Nov. 21

You’ve got too much going on. You’re going to run out of steam if you don’t take a close look at the situation and reduce your views down to fundamentals and learn to set boundaries. There are certain aspects of your work or home life that are trying to merge. A shift is taking place, and for those aspects to integrate coherently and without conflict you need to make sure that your personal boundaries are clearly drawn. Sagittarius – Nov. 22 to Dec. 21

The key for you right now is cooperation. Through group efforts much more is accomplished than when a single person acts alone. Second, use this prosperous time to gather resources for future use. Don’t go overboard with your spending and remember which relationships will be most useful to you down the road.

You’re in a frustrating situation. All of your attempts to realize your plans are to no avail. Don’t give up. These road blocks are not because of something you did, in fact they have nothing at all to do with you. So back up and try to look at the situation from different angles. You can create the change you want, but you might have to dress it up as something else in order to make it happen. It’s OK, a little deception isn’t going to hurt anything. And don’t worry, you won’t be compromising yourself through this creative problem solving. You’ve got the power of your own soul or Source behind you.
